"Bullet Raja" Review

Cast
:  Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidyut Jamwal, Jimmy Shergil
Director: Tigmanshu Dhulia

Overall Rating: 3.5 /5

Faheem Ruhani, India Today: 3.5/5

Bullet Raja's slogan claims "aayenge toh garmi badyaenge." To the film's credit it delivers what it promises.

Taran Adarsh, BollywoodHumgama : 4/5

On the whole, BULLETT RAJA is Tigmanshu Dhulia's most 'commercial', mass appealing film thus far.  Enjoyable, engaging and extremely distinctive, BULLETT RAJA is not to be missed!

Srijana Mitra Das, Times of India:
3.5/5

Bullett Raja (BR) is zany and funny, an Uttar Pradesh take on Sholay's Jai and Veeru.BR scores with its tight performances, Saif terrific with his clenched-jaw comedy, Shergill intense and growlingly funny, Jamwal's flying kicks and wavy hair making the landscape even hotter. Go watch - you'll enjoy those bangs in the dark. Note: You may not like this film if you avoid violent political tales.

Mohar Basu,Koimoi : 2/4

It wouldn’t be a terrible thing if you miss Bullett Raja. To begin with, it was a pointless film that destroyed its gutsy premise to tatters. Attempting to strike a balance between over-the-top and ridiculous, this one is hands down Dhulia’s most immature attempt at filmmaking. From the man who made Paan Sigh Tomar filled with deft touches, Bullett Raja is a grotesque misfire.

Aparna Mudi, Zee News:  4/5

The movie is a must watch for anyone who loves hard core action. It is not as intense as Dhulia’s previous ventures were, but ‘Bullett Raja’ will surely not let you down.

Prathamesh Jadhav, India.com : 3.5/5

At 2 hours and 20 minutes Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullett Raja succeeds at hitting the bull’s eye with a with, quirky and engaging shot of entertainment. Go, pull the trigger this weekend!

'Singh Saab the Great' Review

Cast: Sunny Deol, Prakash Raj, Amrita Rao and Urvashi Rautela
Director: Anil Sharma

Overall Rating: 2.8/5

Times of India: 2/5
The title song, composed and rendered by Sonu Nigam with remarkable verve and energy and sung in a pitch that perhaps only he could is perhaps the greatest thing about Singh Saab The Great. For that you don't have to go to a cinema hall.

Paloma Sharam, Rediff .com: 2/5
Singh Saab the Great has its moments. But more importantly, it has Sunny Deol and that is reason enough for most of us to watch this film.

Taran Adarsh: 3.5/5
Clapworthy dialogue, fiery confrontations, hi-octane drama and, of course, Sunny's dhaai kilo ka haath to vanquish the oppressors... the mandatory requirements have to be in place. And Singh Saab The Great has it all in trademark Anil Sharma style.

Manohar basu: 3/5
Anil Sharma's direction doesn't get overtly heavy handed as it manages to leave an impact, though it is important to chide the director for making us bear through the statutory romantic track that acts as an initial catalyst in creating the skeletal framework of the story.

Subhash Jha, NDTV:  3.5/5

There is a virility and fluency to the storytelling. Singh Saab The Great is a homage to the cinema of the 1980s when Sunny was the daredevil determined to bring on a social reform. Somewhere, that hero lost his way. It's good to have him back.

'Gori tere Pyar mein' movie review

Overall Rating:  2.9/5

Paloma Sharma , Rediff.com : 2.5/5
Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’s saving grace is that it is a love story and the second half will manage to melt your heart, if only slightly. It’s the classic opposites attract story and hey, if you’re into that kind of thing, this might be your kind of film.

Rajiv Masand, IBN LIVE:   2/5

We'd have cared more about this mismatched couple had the makers invested in a sharper script. I am going with a generous two out of five for Gori Tere Pyaar Mein. It's as enjoyable as drinking a cup of tea that's been left out in the cold

Madhureeta Mukharjee, Times of India: 3.5/5

This isn't the most rousing romance (second-half lacks 'rom'), but has its feel-good moments. Chew it up with some 'Chingam' and a cute date.

Taran Adarsh, Bollywood Hungama : 3.5/5
Gori Tere Pyaar Mein! is more of a coming-of-age movie with a focus on contemporary relationships and interactions.

Mohar Basu, Koimoi.com :3/5

It comes as a pleasant surprise when director Punit Malhotra has upped his standard by delivering a cutesy and enjoyable romantic comedy. Aided with the wicked chemistry of Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor KhanGori Tere Pyaar Mein! conjures up a charmingly enviable romantic comedy which is delightful and breezy without an ounce of melodrama. The subtle cool candour isn’t novel but this run-in-the-mill story is exceptionally endearing.
