Dhoom 3

Overall Rating: 3 Stars

Saibal Chattarjee : 3 Stars
Dhoom 3 is fun while it lasts, but it might not leave the viewer with the sense of having watched a film that is truly unique.

Mohar Basu: 4 Stars
Dhoom 3 is a definite must watch. Breathtakingly shot with gorgeous cinematography, this edition notches higher than its preceding films in terms of thrills and mostly in terms of soul.

Rajeev Masand : 2 ½ Stars
Dhoom 3 is a sloppily scripted sandwich of hammy acting and cheesy dialogue.

Raja Sen : 1 ½ Stars
Dhoom 3 is a children’s film made for children who’ve never seen a film.

Taran Adarsh: 3 ½ Stars
The latest chapter of Dhoom, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, delivers everything you anticipate from it, so there's no room to grumble, frankly.

Aparna Mudi: 4 Stars
Dhoom 3 manages to deliver a typically Bollywood revenge saga in a modern way. The suspense and the emotional quotient added to the speed and stunts make the movie as spectacular as it promises to be.

Anupama Chopra: 3 Stars
The big plot twist has been ripped off from Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige. So see Dhoom 3 but with your expectations at half-mast. It’s not the popcorn thrill ride that I expected. There just isn’t enough joy in it but Aamir and the stupendous action make this worth watching.

Srijana Mitra Das: 4 Stars
Dhoom 3 is slightly extensive. But it holds advantages, the first, that sizzling Dhoom tune, all leather, boots and electric guitars, which straightens sagging scenes. The second - sharp performances by Khan, Bachchan  and Chopra, who sprinkles lightness and fun. And the third - Dhoom 3's story with a twist wrapped around it, like the ribbon around a Christmas gift. Merrily unwrap - flying out of the Great Indian Circus, Dhoom 3 is great fun.

Sukanya Verma: 3 Stars
Realistically, of course, Dhoom is a fun albeit dumb franchise that is unapologetically nonsensical, intellect proof and relies on the shenanigans of its smooth, superficial villains and their hot pursuit at the hands of police officers. There are two vivid reasons I indulge (and enjoyed) this I know-that you know-that I know (classic Abbas-Mastanism) is because of the cunning and conviction in Aamir’s delivery and Katrina Kaif.

Rohit Khilnani: 2 Stars
Dhoom 3 is full of loop holes, over-the-top acting and an overdose of action that doesn't fit well all the time. The timing is right so the film will run to packed houses but it's surely not a film that I would recommend as your last outing for 2013!

R...Rajkumar

Overall Rating: 1.25/5

ShubhraGupta,The Indian Express: 0/5
I was left asking, why was R... Rajkumar made? It is nothing but blank putrid noise. R... for Rubbish. Zero star.

Saibal Chatterjee, NDTV: 1/5
The hero calls his lady love Lollypop. But expect no sweet delights. For the film, on its part, is pure poppycock. The only place that it should be heading to is the cleaners.

India TV: 1.5/5
Don’t mistake this masala entertainer as Prabhu Deva’s Wanted which made Salman Khan the action hunk overnight.

Daily Bhaskar: 2/5
Even if you are a big fan of no-brainer action thriller, we would suggest you to watch R…Rajkumar on TV.

First Post:
The most annoying film of 2013. If this is what you want to see in a movie, call me. I have a couch at home. We’ll talk about your life, your priorities, your cerebral harmony and what is best for you as a modern civilized human being. I can help. I promise.

Gayatri Shankar, Zee News:  1/5
Rajkumar is often heard saying, “be silent else I will get violent”. After watching the film, your sane senses would have been put to rest and hence you would take his advice very seriously and stay silent.

Watch the film only if you don’t love yourself!

One India: 1.5/5
R... Rajkumar is not even close to average. The film is loud, dramatic and over-the-top. I'm going with a generous one and half out of five rating.

TaranAdarsh, Bollywood Hungama : 1.5/5
Shahid is at home when he has to sing songs and romance Sonakshi, but looks far from convincing when he has to act as a super-hero

Paloma Sharma, Rediff:  1.5/5
R... Rajkumar has some catchy tunes with beats that capture the essence of the film such as Sari ke Falls sa. However, the music isn't at par with Pritam's previous works.
The film begins pretty well and Shahid entertains in bits but there's only so much he can do to make this kind of stuff work.

"Bullet Raja" Review

Cast
:  Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidyut Jamwal, Jimmy Shergil
Director: Tigmanshu Dhulia

Overall Rating: 3.5 /5

Faheem Ruhani, India Today: 3.5/5

Bullet Raja's slogan claims "aayenge toh garmi badyaenge." To the film's credit it delivers what it promises.

Taran Adarsh, BollywoodHumgama : 4/5

On the whole, BULLETT RAJA is Tigmanshu Dhulia's most 'commercial', mass appealing film thus far.  Enjoyable, engaging and extremely distinctive, BULLETT RAJA is not to be missed!

Srijana Mitra Das, Times of India:
3.5/5

Bullett Raja (BR) is zany and funny, an Uttar Pradesh take on Sholay's Jai and Veeru.BR scores with its tight performances, Saif terrific with his clenched-jaw comedy, Shergill intense and growlingly funny, Jamwal's flying kicks and wavy hair making the landscape even hotter. Go watch - you'll enjoy those bangs in the dark. Note: You may not like this film if you avoid violent political tales.

Mohar Basu,Koimoi : 2/4

It wouldn’t be a terrible thing if you miss Bullett Raja. To begin with, it was a pointless film that destroyed its gutsy premise to tatters. Attempting to strike a balance between over-the-top and ridiculous, this one is hands down Dhulia’s most immature attempt at filmmaking. From the man who made Paan Sigh Tomar filled with deft touches, Bullett Raja is a grotesque misfire.

Aparna Mudi, Zee News:  4/5

The movie is a must watch for anyone who loves hard core action. It is not as intense as Dhulia’s previous ventures were, but ‘Bullett Raja’ will surely not let you down.

Prathamesh Jadhav, India.com : 3.5/5

At 2 hours and 20 minutes Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Bullett Raja succeeds at hitting the bull’s eye with a with, quirky and engaging shot of entertainment. Go, pull the trigger this weekend!
